I thought it would be nice to post books here as well as in my NL. That way you can find them whenever you want to. You can also go back and check out older books as well. Just click the image to check out the book!

Being a single mom is hard. Friends help. Even when those friends need help more.

Jen Morel is doing her best to guide her teenagers through life. Sometimes she feels complete and utter joy at how that’s working out. Two seconds later she feels crushed by defeat. Such is the life of a single mom.

Other parts of her life are stressing her out more than she wants to think about. Her daughter is asking questions about her family she doesn’t have the answers to. And those answers are ones she’d like to keep buried – at least for now. Her friend Yvette needs help with a baking contest she’s entered. Friends help friends, so she agrees. Her ex is showing up at unexpected times and disrupting everything.

And on top of all that, she has expenses with her inherited building she can’t afford. She needs to find the family gold more than ever. Yvette and Audie agree to pitch in reminding Jen of all she’s done for them.

As Jen fulfills her roles as mother and friend, she can’t be successful at everything. Guilt and dismay take charge as she fails her friends and family. With events happening behind her back, she’s headed for a breakdown she can’t see coming.

An ex-con youth pastor. A single mom who won’t step foot in church. A match made in heaven? They don’t think so.

A pastor? Not for Lisa Appleton. She’s not exactly on speaking terms with the Almighty, nor is she remotely interested in giving love another chance. So she’s a little ticked when her matchmaking friend tries to set her up with the new youth pastor in town. But when an emergency leaves her and her three daughters temporarily homeless, Pastor Ric warmly opens his doors.

Ricardo de Leon paid for the mistakes of his past—for seven years without freedom. A changed man, he never dreamed transitioning to a small town—and new culture—would be this hard. Since he has dedicated himself in service to God and God alone, he doesn’t think twice before lending a helping hand to Lisa, who makes her distrust of him clear.

What neither of them counted on? Falling in love.

VIRGINIA

I had big plans for my life once, but nothing has turned out like I thought it would.

One day I looked in the mirror and the strong, creative, feisty girl of my childhood wasn’t smiling back at me anymore. In my perfect world…I would sell my gourmet donuts, make art, be married to my high school sweetheart, and live in my dream house. My current life, however, looks nothing like that.

My aunt must’ve known something that I didn’t, because when she left me her cottage on Sweetwater Island, a tiny spark lit inside me.

But the old Victorian house has been sitting vacant for so long, the idea of living there is a pipe dream.

What would it take to restore the summer cottage of my childhood to its former glory?

My sister thinks it's crazy, but... Could this be a second chance at the life I always dreamed of?

TRISTAN

From the moment she peeked her head around the corner of that weather-worn Victorian cottage, I knew there was something special about her.

Then I realized that she was going to be one of those clients that thought being involved in the renovation project was helpful, when really, she was just going to get in the way.

Why then, did she have to end up being so beautiful, and so…likable?

No, I made peace with my romantic solitude a long time ago and know that love isn’t in the cards for me. People with dark secrets like mine don’t deserve a chance at true happiness.

Yet every time she comes around, I can’t help but wonder…

Can people be salvageable like this old seaside cottage?
